Can you install my logo?
Of course! If you already have a logo, I will happily install it as part of the service.
Yes, that’s a legal requirement. No worries though, I’ll help you take care of it.
Do I need a domain / hosting?
You will need them eventually so your blog can go live. If you don't have them yet, relax. I'll help you take care of it.
What other costs should I expect?
Domain – this is a yearly cost, usually under $20. If you don’t already have a registrar, I recommend Hover because they’re super easy to work with.
Hosting – this is an ongoing expense for the life of your website. If you sign up for one of my maintenance packages, I’ll include your hosting as a free bonus.
Theme – well-coded themes with full functionality are not free. Most run between $50 and $100.
Paid plugins – if you need sophisticated social sharing functionality, it usually comes in the form of a paid plugin. Most bloggers start out with the free version
What type of work is not included in the setup?
This service includes installation of your theme with recommended plugins and widgets per demo, customization with your colors, fonts, and logo (if you have one), integration of your newsletter sign-up form (if you have one), and configuration of your social media icons.
It does not include adding or switching out images, creating new pages, or adding content. I will teach you how to do all these things in the personalized training.
Do you offer ongoing support after my new website is launched?
Yes! I’d love to continue working with you. My WordPress blog setup service includes 14 days of support after the setup. During that time, we’ll discuss how I can continue supporting your business with maintenance services so you can focus on your own strengths.
